Yellow Canopy Course:

This course continues to build confidence and precision following the Silver Canopy Course.  Learn about the types of weather phenomenon and how they affect your canopy during flight.  Also learn how utilize your harness and control your canopy with just a thought and truly become one with your parachute.  Always wanted to know what your body position does to canopy flight, and how much it affects it?  Find out in this course.  Finally, take a look at how the front risers affect the canopy and start picking up a little speed.  These advanced drills will give you a full understanding of what your wing is capable of.  This course is designed for:

-Weather phenomenon that affects canopy flight

-Learn harness inputs

-Learn to combine control inputs for smoother flight

-Intro to use the front risers

-Utilization of body position

-The forces acting on your canopy

Orange Canopy Course:

Round out your canopy skills with the Orange Course.  This course combines everything you have learned in the first two curriculums.  Worried about that first “off” landing.  You will learn everything you need to know about landing off the dropzone or in an unknown landing area.  Go much more in depth on pattern flying and continue to build pin point accuracy so you can nail that landing in a small backyard.  This course will also look into emergency maneuvers more in depth, turn reversals, dive recovery, and how to get yourself out of that bad situation you just got in.  Finally, master full control of your landings and how to avoid obstacles. We will challenge you with different drills near the ground in a safe controlled environment. This will give you the confidence you need to perform the maneuvers if you find yourself in an emergency situation. This course is designed for:

-In depth look at Pattern adjustments

-Unknown landing areas/off landings

-Obstacle avoidance during landing

-Turn reversals

-Dive recovery

-Half braked approaches
