When you were a kid, were there any early activities that might indicate you’d one day become a skydiver?

I jumped off A LOT of stuff

What was the circumstance that led you to the DZ for the first time to make your very first skydive?

I was working about 2 miles away from Skydive Pepperell when I saw a skydiver land behind the next building over. I raced over in my car to make sure he was OK (it looked like he hit some power lines) and as I turned the corner he was screaming YEEEEWWWWWWW!!! Pure adrenaline. I gave him a ride back to the dropzone and on the way, he convinced me to start jumping…

What made you want to continue skydiving after your first jump?

I landed in someone’s back yard on my first jump and I was hooked.

What’s the best / most memorable skydive you’ve ever made?

I had the opportunity to jump in Costa Rica in 2021, land on the beach, hang out with all the local kids and bring school supplies for them.

What advice would you give to someone thinking about jumping for the first time?

Just do it… Nike
